Blogging isn’t as simple as you may imagine. Sure that’s all that blogging looks like on the surface but the truth is that blogging is more involved than that. As an internet marketer blogging can increase your market reach and bring in new customers. Blogging on a regular basis will take little of your time away and you will benefit from the hundreds of extra dollars that you will be making. Read on to find out you can learn to blog like a professional.

An RSS Feed should be available to any blog you run. ”Really Simple Syndication” is the full meaning of RSS. Most of the time you don’t have to install your own feeds because they are already a part of a blog. It’s up you whether you want to use your blog’s feed or one from a third party. Sometimes a third party system is better because it might have further reach across the net than your blog’s RSS; in this case you can use Feedburner who was recently bought by Google.

Your RSS Feed can bring in new visitors who may read a post of yours through someone’s else site that is subscribed to your feed or it can be an easy way for them to keep up-to-date with your posts without having to go to your blog. What happens is that when someone subscribes to your feed they automatically receives your posts in their feed reader whenever you add something.

Another option is to create a subscription form that your readers can subscribe to that sends your blog post right to their in-box. This is similar to the process of collecting email addresses in order to send out a newsletter. This is much simpler than a newsletter; the only thing that you will be doing is delivering your new posts to their email address. Your readers will appreciate that you are trying to make your blog as convenient to read for them as possible and are more likely to respond to your various product sales pitches.

Your site should be a place where people can comment on their thoughts without worrying about them being deleted. Moderating will, at first, be a simple task because of the smaller amount of traffic. As you become more popular and get weirder comments (or hateful comments) you might be tempted to close your comments or to only publish the comments you like. By keeping moderation to a minimum you create a meeting place where people won’t have a fear of expressing themselves. This is the type of place where people love to congregate. There are lots of ways to improve your blogging performance. Remember, blogging is about more than making money. It’s also an important way to network and get better known. If you want to be considered an authority on your chosen topic, a blog can be a good way to accomplish this. It can also attract many people to you, which will help you make more money in the long run. Isn’t that the primary goal for all internet marketers: to make money?
